Dave has an education in Restaurant & Travel Management from UCLA & California Polytechnic State University. From Dishwasher to general Manager, Dave has worked it all. IN 1991 Dave was managing Mimi's Cafe in Anaheim, CA, One of the Special events was a Comedy Graduation Performance. When the emcee did not make it to the show Dave took charge! It was his first time on stage and the feelings never stopped.

In 1991 Dave and fellow comic Keith Stubbs toured the Midwest. Dave and Keith opened two comedy clubs in Utah. Laffs in Ogden and Wise Guys in Salt Lake City. Both are still very successful. In 1997 Dave was invited to compete in Seattle's International Comedy Competition.

Sept 29th 2002 Angela steps on to an open mic stage at Pegasus pizza in Kirkland. They fell in love and have been laughing ever since. Dave & Angela both managed the Popular Double Tree Laffs together. Until the hotel was bought out. Then they both then decided to open Laughs Comedy Spot, here in Kirkland.

David Dennison, Owner/Manager

David's Comedy Alcohol Certification classes have also helped develop his expertise in running a comedy club. Many classes are "on-site" at restaurants throughout the Seattle area and many are at Seattle's two established comedy clubs (the Comedy Underground and Giggles). David has built relationships with the managers of both comedy clubs and has seen what has worked and not worked for those locations.

1998 Comedy Alcohol Certification took a historically dull subject and fused it with comedy. C.A.C. Holds one of the highest success rates in the state.
